American Idol season 10 contestant, Pia Toscano celebrated her marriage to dancer Jimmy R.O. Smith over the weekend. The regal ceremony was held on January 7th in New York when she entered into matrimony with her sweetheart. The 28 year old tied the knot at the Mahnattan Angel Orensanz Center and although she didn’t win her season of the reality show, she was definitely victorious with her immaculate bridal style.
Toscano went with not just the one wedding gown, but two dramatic dresses on the big day. The ceremony and celebrations fully fit the big occasion, as a massive bridal party gathered to usher the singer into the new chapter of her life. The Bride took a pretty unique approach to her Bridal party in a modern twist, because every guest that was at the wedding got to walk down the aisle behind her in the monumental bridal party and all of the guests were color-coordinated in black and white.
Toscano had three matrons of honour (sister, Kim, my best friend, Cassie, and my godmother, Rose) and both of the Bride’s dressed were designed by her friend Michael Costello, one them sporting a plunging neck line while for her second dress she went full on Urban Bride style in a very modern frock that boasted an illusion bodice.
Toscano stated: “I’ve dreamed of this magical day since I was 4-years-old, and I hoped to find my king. Today, all of my childhood dreams come true. I am marrying the absolute love of my life in front of my closest family and friends. I couldn’t be happier!”
“The biggest & most amazing bridal party ever #EverySingleGuest,” Toscano posted on Instagram and the newlyweds celebrated their first dance at the reception to John Legend‘s “All of Me.”
