The couple have been very active on social media recently, traveling, celebrating the holidays and now their recent engagement.

Sergio García, who is 36, has been known to be somewhat of a romeo, being in the media for his high profile relationships with Morgan-Leigh Norman (Greg Norman’s daughter) and Katharina Boehm, who was also a college golfer, to whom Garcia was reportedly engaged back in 2014.
Garcia, winner of more than 20 international golf tournaments and with PGA career earnings over $40 million has never managed to win an elusive Major, but will go into the new 2017 season needing to fit wedding plans to fit into his busy schedule after having had the 31-year old Akins steal his heart.
