Stevie Wonder marries for the third time.

Stevie Wonder gets married

Sixty seven year old singer Stevie Wonder tied the knot for the third time as he married Tomeeka Robyn Bracy over the weekend. The ceremony went down in Los Angeles at the Hotel Bel-Air it was confirmed by People magazine this week.

The photos of the ceremony, which was described as being lavish and romantic were flying around social media but were pulled back over privacy issues. There was a host of stars out for the wedding among the 160 reported guests there, with John Legend, Pharrell Williams and Usher all performing on the stage for Stevie and his new bride.

Stevie himself got up and took the mike to perform the Otis Redding classic “Try A Little Tenderness” for his new wife.

There haven’t been a lot of details released about the wedding itself, and it was kept a pretty big secret from the public. Apparently, every guest at the wedding, which included family members, had to sign a confidentiality agreement that included a penalty of $1 million if they talked to the press.

However, a background vocalist who performed at the event shared photos and videos from the wedding on her Instagram account Monday, but has since made her account private.

As well as other star guests like Babyface, this was a big family feel about the wedding, because Stevie, who is a big family man, had some of his children take on the key roles of the best man and bridesmaids for the ceremony to Bracy, who is 24 years his junior. The couple had been dating for five years and the bride wore a headpiece and form-fitting white gown.

In December 2014, Stevie and Bracy had their second child together, a baby girl named Nia, who became the Motown Legend’s ninth child. Stevie Wonder, who has won 25 Grammy Awards in his illustrious career has seven children from previous relationships: Aisha, 42, Mumtaz, 34, Kwame, 28, Kailand, Sophia, Keita and Mandla, 12.

Stevie was married to Syreeta Wright from 1970 to 1972, and Kai Millard from 2001 to 2012 but now moves on to this new chapter of his life.

Congratulations to the couple, we wish them a very happy life together.
